Sasha Zoueva is a Director of Strategic Learning & Impact at The Rockefeller Foundation, where she works closely with program teams, grantees, and learning partners to measure, evaluate, and continuously improve our collective impact.

Ms. Zoueva brings to the Foundation experience in program design, management, and evaluation of large-scale global public health programs for underserved populations in sub-Saharan Africa and India, as well as expertise in evaluating the social impact of organizations that are aiming to produce both a social and a financial return.

Prior to joining The Rockefeller Foundation, Ms. Zoueva worked at Johnson & Johnson (J&J) both on the core business and social impact sides. There, she was responsible for assessing the social impact of J&J’s strategic philanthropy and corporate social responsibility portfolio, with a specific focus on leading the reporting of key ESG data through the auditing process and on setting up a framework for impact measurement and management of Johnson and Johnson Impact Ventures’ investment portfolio. She was later selected for a leadership rotation with J&J MedTech, where she helped generate insights into unmet needs of patients who may benefit from J&J solutions as part of the Real-World Evidence Health Economics Market Analytics team. Prior to J&J she worked at the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation in London, where she was directly responsible for a $13 million portfolio of evaluation and operational research grants, including mathematical modelling grants, impact evaluations, and qualitative assessments.

Throughout her career, Ms. Zoueva has worked closely with governments, local and global stakeholders, and industry partners to develop and improve the quality of global health programs. She has contributed to WHO’s Strategic Plan and progress report on the elimination of soil-transmitted helminthiases and contributed to a peer-reviewed publication on Neglected Tropical Diseases. She had abstracts accepted at key evaluation conferences in Europe and the U.S. and she currently sits on the Board of the Social Impact Measurement Topical Interest Group of the American Evaluation Association. Her latest piece on setting impact targets in impact investing was published in ImpactAlpha.

Ms. Zoueva has a B.A. in Psychology from Yale University and an M.Sc. in International Health from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
