Applications for the 2026 Bellagio Center Convening Program are now open.

Read on to learn about the program and how to apply.

For more than 60 years, The Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Center has supported leaders and organizations to advance novel solutions and develop likely and unlikely partnerships — unlocking breakthroughs that are essential to humanity’s well-being.

The Bellagio Center Convening Program connects innovative, trailblazing and changemaking organizations and leaders to strengthen solutions, build partnerships, and inspire collaboration across sectors and professions, political affiliations, and national borders.

Every year, the Bellagio Center works with organizations to host approximately 1,000 people through 60, 1-week-long convenings designed to develop and implement breakthrough solutions to the world’s greatest challenges. Bellagio convenings have launched landmark initiatives that have reimagined our energy, food, health, and financing systems, such as the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP), the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization, the CGIAR and the Global Impact Investing Network.

By sharing knowledge, approaches, and perspectives, conveners can collectively transform the issues that define our present and shape our future.

  • Demonstrate the potential to advance a solution that will positively impact humanity and drive a breakthrough in a field, system, institution, or discourse
  • Hinge on a clear, specific, and compelling charitable purpose that will improve the lives of underserved and vulnerable populations
  • Capitalize on a catalytic moment to advance their work
  • Have a defined, measurable, and clear path to impact
  • Promote impact and adoption by ensuring people affected by solutions are involved in their creation
  • Have a well-resourced team in place to support convening planning, execution, and follow through
